Hadith on Hereafter: Remember the Hellfire during severe weather of summer and winter


Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When the heat is severe, then let it cool down for prayer. Verily, severe heat is from the raging of Hell. The Hellfire complained to its Lord saying: My Lord, my parts are eating each other. So it was given permission to make a breath in the winter and a breath in the summer. They are the strongest heat you feel and the strongest cold you feel.”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ وَاشْتَكَتْ النَّارُ إِلَى رَبِّهَا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَبِّ أَكَلَ بَعْضِي بَعْضًا فَأَذِنَ لَهَا بِنَفَسَيْنِ نَفَسٍ فِي الشِّتَاءِ وَنَفَسٍ فِي الصَّيْفِ فَهُوَ أَشَدُّ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنْ الْحَرِّ وَأَشَدُّ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنْ الزَّمْهَرِيرِ

Hadith on Prayer: Let it cool down during severe heat for the Dhuhur prayer


Abu Dharr reported: The caller of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, made the announcement for noon prayer but the Prophet said, “Let it cool. Let it wait. Severe heat is from the raging of Hell, so when you feel severe heat then let it cool down for prayer until we see shadows in the hills.”

حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا فَيْءَ التُّلُولِ

Hadith on Hereafter: Paradise and Hellfire supplicate for those who ask Allah

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No Muslim man asks Allah the Exalted for Paradise three times but that Paradise will say: O Allah, admit him into Paradise. He does not seek protection from the Hellfire three times but that the Hellfire will say: O Allah, grant him protection from the Hellfire.”

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْجَنَّةَ ثَلَاثًا إِلَّا قَالَتْ الْجَنَّةُ اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا اسْتَجَارَ مِنْ النَّارِ مُسْتَجِيرٌ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ إِلَّا قَالَتْ النَّارُ اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْهُ مِنْ النَّارِ
